Every couple of months or so, these guys come out and paint new advertisements for mostly for beer and liquor companies, like Heineken, Sailor Jerry, etc. Its all done by hand, with enamel sign paint. This building that they paint on is right on the corner, adjacent from house. I can see them from my balcony and will walk over and watch them work and talk to them for a little bit. They work for a company called Colossal Media Group. They work pretty fast and usually hammer out something like this with lots of detail in 3 days or less. I think its awesome that companies are willing to pay to have artists like them paint there advertisements. Pretty cool to see them keeping the tradition of hand paint signs alive.... I think this is a job that I wouldn't mind doing for a little while.

Grand National Roadster Show
Me and Nicole took a trip to the GNRS.
We had such a good time. I have never been to the show as a spectator. Usaully I set up with the pinstriper reunion and work my ass off. Not this year. It so nice because you can actually see everything and enjoy the show and hang out with good friends. I think next year I will do the pinstriper reunion...
This was my favorite at the whole entire show! Wish I owned it!
Hung out with Pacaman for a minute. He was rippin it up at the Pinstripe reunion.
Always good to see Jimmy C! One of my favorite artists, the nicest guy, always so cool to talk to him.
Aki's bike was in the show. Nice to see it compete! Hope he wins.
Kosuke from Sunrise Cycles. I helped him paint this, he did most of the design. Its an amazing looking Panhead. Look at those pipes!
Born Free Bike. We only had enough time to get it in primer coat for the show.
Bunch of Denver Choppers. Nice view!
This was Nicole's Favorite car. She has good taste.
The Late Great Walt Prey's work was present!

Helmet for Ludo
Finished this a couple of weeks ago. I put it in the art show at Dan Collins Tattoo shop.
Now its on its way to its owner, in the Netherlands... When Ludo ordered this paint on his helmet, he specifically said "I want something bright and sunny, all I want is the helmet to make me happy when I see it"... Well I hope this is bright enough for you buddy and makes you happy!
Cheers and Thanks!!!

ARt sHOW rECAP
Dan Collins knows how to put on a good art show.
Was honored to be apart of a great group of artists.
Here are a few snaps of what went down at the Psycledelic Tendencies art show last Saturday.
I put in a helmet I just finished for a customer.
Panel I did a year ago.
