Looking Back - Born Free 5

Now that we are fully able to get back in the swing of things after Born Free 5 (and a much needed vacation), I just wanted to give a recap of how everything went, as well as say thank you so much for the continued support!

Thank you to everyone who made it out to the show, and stopped by and said "hi" at our booth! We had a great time at the show, and hope you all did too.

All of the bikes looked incredible - and a big congratulations to all of the builders!

A big congratulations to T-Bone of Noise Cycles on taking home the "Best Of Show" award. It's always a pleasure and an honor to work with Noise Cycles!  All his hard work definitely paid off and he is continuously pushing to raise the bar.

Alan Richards Triumph was also another head turner that I was lucky to have been a part of. He made a long trip from Calgary, Canada to bring his amazing build to show... It came out beautiful!

Powerplant Choppers! Very honored to be able to work on bikes of this caliber.

We had also released some new merch designs, including some new tees and tanks available in mens, women's, and children's sizes. Check out Death Squad Chris Yvon's little guy in one of the new "signature" tees.

Overall, it was a great turn out, and an even better show. Thanks so much again to everyone who stopped over this year!

Sonny Boy Paint at Born Free 5

Hey all! In case you didn't know, we will have a booth set up again at Born Free tomorrow. Sonny will be joined by Japanese pinstriper, Boo, and both will painting live at the show. Bring over something you'd like them to work their magic on (helmets, boards, iphones, etc. - don't be shy!), watch them paint, or just plain kick it.

For those of you not familiar with Boo's work, here is a little taste...

Also, this will be the first time you will have a chance to snag our new Sonny Boy Paint "Signature" gear. We have new tee's, tanks (finally something for the ladies!) , and pinpacks, so come check 'em out!

 See you all tomorrow!

Born Free 5 IS TOMORROW!!!

It's finally that time again! Born Free 5 is tomorrow at Oak Canyon Ranch in Silverado, California. It's an incredible one-of-a-kind kinda show, and if you have the chance you should totally try and make it out! All of the 32 invited builders are unbelievably talented, and we feel honored to have been able to help some of them out with the paint for their builds.

T-Bone of Noise Cycles is again an invited builder this year, and what he is building is totally mind blowing. "Street-racing" inspired, and all hand constructed with the style superior craftsmanship T-Bone is known for - this bike is a sight you really don't want to miss. We posted a bit on it a short while ago, but here is another shot from the paint job we did for him.

Yaniv Evan of PowerPlant Choppers is also another extremely talented invited builder this year who we are stoked to have helped him out with the paint on his b-e-a-utiful Panhead. This baby will also be on display tomorrow, but here is a sneak peak...

Last but certainly not least, be sure to check our Canada's finest, Alan Richards. Here's a shot of the Triumph he is showing that Sonny painted...

See you all there!

New Gear!

We just designed & released some new gear and designs, and it's in time for Born Free 5! We now have new T-shirt designs available in men's, women's, and youth sizes. We also now offer tank tops for both men and women - just in time for the heat! Everything is printed locally, 100% cotton, and designed by yours truly. They are available for sale online at our Big Cartel store, and also in person at BF5. Check 'em out!

Born Free 5 - Noise Cycles

Born Free 5 is right around the corner, and invited builder Scott "T-bone" Jones of Noise Cycles has been totally stepped up to the plate and then some with his build. He is an incredibly talented and creative guy, and I feel so honored to be doing his paint again this time around. Some may call his build futuristic, some racing inspired, but overall, we can all agree that there is nothing else like it out there (and it's badass).

For the paint, T-bone was inspired by vintage Honda CB750's. Clean stripes - nice and simple. Here's a look at the original mock-up T-bone made of the bike:

First things first - taping out the layout:

 Prime...

 ...paint...

...and the last piece peeled off!

 The final product:

So stoked on this British style racing green T-bone picked out, and can't wait to see his build all together in person at Born Free 5 this Saturday! Everyone should totally try and make it out - it's a complete sensory overload of talent, creativity, and rad people. We will have a booth set up with multiple artists pin-striping, new gear for sale, and much more. See you all there!
