Keep'em comin'

I got a call from Yaniv of Power Plant, to do a logo on a gas tank and pinstripe the fender and oil bag. Using an old Harley Davidson design for that classic feel. This should be pretty fun!
I also got a tank and a fender to do some fancy flake and candy paint for a cool guy out of Colorado.
I have been drawing all day trying to get designs planned out for these new jobs.
Stay tuned to see the finished product!!!

New Beginning

I have decided that it was time for me to make a change. I have left Road Dog Customs, the shop that I owned and operated with my father Leo, for 6 years, to take on a new endeavor.
I have moved into a new shop in Los Angeles, where I will be working solo, in a more private and intimate fashion. I feel that after owning and operating a full on motorcycle customizing, service and custom paint shop was too much of a distraction for me. This will allow me to take on projects that really need my full artistic skills and focus more on art and creating not just on motorcycles.
Road Dog Customs is still operating so please continue to support them. I wish them the best of luck.

So here I go!

Chopper Fest went great!

I have been super busy this week, after the Chopper Fest on Sunday, that I haven't had a chance to update with pictures from the show.
The trophies were a big hit, and the people that won them were stoked.
I was honored to be the judge for Koolest Paint category.

David Mann Chopper Fest

Tory has been organizing the David Mann Chopper fest for 7 years now. I have helped out with doing some of the trophies the past few years. But this year I was asked to do all 14 of them. It's a pretty big job, but I'm sure these trophies are gonna be awesome and well worth the effort. So if you are looking for something to do, this Sunday is the 7th annual David Mann show. Come enter your bike into the show, and you might be lucky to win one of these fine hand painted trophies.

Primo moves into Road Dog Customs

Our good friend, Rene from Primos Helmet Design, has moved into our shop here at Road Dogs. He was always hanging around here anyway, so maybe now he can get some actual work done. http://primoshelmetdesign.blogspot.comBeen working hard these last couple of weeks. Trying to get the 79 Shovel ready for David Mann show. Laying out the tape right now. I'm really excited about this bike, can't wait to see it done!
